Appearance

The backpack is based on a streamlined design that allows you to hide the high load of the main compartment. Despite everything, the accessory always retains its minimalist form.

The flip-top design also adds streamlining to the backpack, which looks natural against the rather long silhouette of the Studio Backpack. This element is very similar to that of Bellroy’s previous release, the Shift Backpack. But their main difference lies in the lock — Studio is endowed with a magnetic Fidlock mechanism, which seems to be more convenient to use.

The water-resistant polyester of which the backpack is made has leather elements that add sophistication to the accessory. Metal fittings are responsible for the strength of the design of the Studio Backpack, and zippers from the world-famous Japanese brand YKK are responsible for additional water resistance and easy operation.

Internal organization

The volume of the main compartment is 18 liters. It includes a padded compartment for a laptop up to 15″ and deep mesh pockets for small items such as a glasses case, umbrella, laptop cable, power bank or thermos. The main advantage of the main compartment is its depth. Due to this feature, even when the accessory is fully loaded, the backpack retains its neat silhouette.

The front of the backpack also has a functional compartment, equipped with a kind of organizer. It is convenient, because small things that should always be at hand are stored in this kind of pockets. Thus, the outer pocket on the front of the Studio Backpack has a pocket for a phone (or a flat portable battery), 2 pen slots and a key strap. It is equipped with a zipper, so you don’t have to worry about the safety of accessories.

Functionality

Bellroy designers have crafted discreet shoulder straps that are comfortable to wear and look stylish in any setting. In addition, they are equipped with a soft lining and breathable mesh.

The back smoothly flows into the overall silhouette of the backpack, which, by the way, is rarely seen in universal backpacks. It features lumbar support and soft, smooth mesh for breathability.
